One of the biggest themes in my new book Right-Wing Revolution is how, before we can ever hope to fix America, conservatives must fix ourselves.
Sure, the left is a formidable opponent, with a huge amount of money and institutional control. The federal bureaucracy is filled with committed liberals. So are the universities, and non-profits, and corporate suites, and so on. Enacting any kind of change at the federal level is very hard, because it is so incredibly difficult to control the House, the Senate, and the presidency all at the same time.
